Time flies as usual, especially when we're doing the usual hectic shuffle between work, school, and travel to and from Texas. August and September were especially jumpy as we traveled quite a bit - well, mostly Sara traveled quite a bit. The upside is that frequent flyer miles finally tipped the scales and paid for one free flight, so that was a nice bonus.
We managed a visit from the Bergs in August for some beach trips (fun with waves!), and then a three day getaway to Portland, Oregon, where we took in the Oregon State Fair (fun with cows!) Who knew the Oregon state drink was milk? (Oregonians, that's who.)
