Macklin meets his cousins

New Year's eve was especially eventful for Big Mack. He finally got to meet his cousins Caroline and Catherine and his Uncle Scott! The Probasco family and Grandma and Granddaddy Worrell flew up to Chicago just for the day, and Macklin enjoyed much playing and cuddling from everyone.

Since then, Mack seems to be going through another growth spurt. His nursing habits have completely changed - he's nursing for 30 minutes now, instead of 45-50, and he sometimes goes 4 hours between feeding...but sometimes only 1.5 hours. Yikes! He's sleeping great at night; he usually zonks out sometime after 10 pm, wakes around 2:30 am to nurse for half an hour, and then zonks out again until 7 am. This is fantastic, but unfortunately it won't last. We'll have to be out the door and on our way to daycare by 7:15 am starting late next week, so we need to adjust our morning schedule. Any suggestions on how to get a 9 week old baby to nurse on a schedule? Send 'em my way!

What a nice momento of our day-trip to visit you all! You caught some great pictures there. I particularly like the ones of all of our grandchildren sitting on the couch; the ones with you all are good too. Keep the pictures coming! We are enjoying them.
